Hi, I'm Roxanne! Supporting every feed, every need
A registered dietitian and certified lactation consultant with a deep love for breastfeeding, maternal wellness, and helping families thrive. I offer practical, science-backed nutrition advice alongside compassionate lactation support-whether you're preparing for birth, navigating breastfeeding, introducing solids, or just wanting to feel your best. With experience in hospital and community settings, I’m all about real guidance that fits real life.
My Story
I was born in Johannesburg and from a young age I knew I wanted to study dietetics. That passion led me to the University of Pretoria, where I completed my Bachelor in Dietietics in 2019.
In 2020, while the world was facing the challenges of COVID 19, I was placed in a rural government hospital in Mpumalanga for my community service year. While much of the healthcare system’s focus was directed toward the pandemic, I found myself drawn to an area that remained just as vital, maternal and infant health. Working closely with mothers and their babies during this time showed me how essential support and guidance is, even in uncertain circumstances. It was here that my passion for breastfeeding and maternal health truly deepened, and I realised how much of a difference compassion, education and support can make in the lives of families.
Wanting to expand my knowledge, I studied further to become a South African Certified Lactation Consultant through the University of the Witwatersrand. This additional training allowed me to combine my passion with specialised skills in supporting families during one of the most important stages of life.
Today, I live in Cape Town with my husband, where I consult privately both to individuals, families and food industry and continue to share my passion for maternal and infant health and nutrition. As someone who dreams of becoming a mother one day, I believe wholeheartedly in the principles I share with my patients, and I believe in applying them in my own life.
